OUR CLASSES
Teeny Trapdoor Classes
Our youngest age group enjoy classes which focus on working together, learning to speak up, encouraging confidence and above all else having fun! Each term is 10 weeks long and classes are themed. Children learn through games and drama improvisation, mime, dance, song and learn basic stage technique. Each term culminates with a Showcase performance open to family and friends, where the children present a compilation of their work.
Classes take place on a Friday afternoon in the Main Hall from 4-5pm. All children are required to wear a Red Teeny Trapdoor T-shirt each week. These can be ordered upon registration.
Senior Trapdoor Classes
As the students progress through the school they are introduced to all aspects of the performing arts. This includes work on Direction, Choreographic Skills, Production and Script Writing, alongside Acting, Dancing and Singing. Each term is roughly 10 weeks long and classes follow a theme. At the end of most terms the Senior Classes present either 3 separate showcases or join together to perform as one.
We currently have three Senior Classes on a Friday 5-8, Saturday 10-1 and Saturday 12.30-3.30. All children are required to wear a Blue Trapdoor T-shirt each week. These can be ordered upon registration.
